Frequently Asked Questions

We require at least 24-hour advance notice for cancellation of private training sessions. If you need to cancel your participation in a group class, we require a minimum of 3 days’ notice.

In extreme circumstances where a group class needs to be canceled in the middle of its running, we will offer clients credits of equal value for the remaining classes. These credits may be applied to boarding, private training, day camp, and other classes, but will not be paid in cash.
If you need to miss a session in a group class due to your dog’s illness, we do offer the chance to make up the session in another class. In this instance, please contact us to confirm and reschedule your session. We do not offer cash refunds equivalent to the cost of classes missed.

At the Enchanted Ranch Training Center, vaccines are required. Please do not come to the center if your dog has shown any symptoms of illness over the prior 2 weeks.
At the Enchanted Ranch, We require that your dog must not have been to the dog park for the past 3 weeks before coming, and that they have up-to-date vaccines including Bordetella (Kennel Cough).
If you have to miss a class due to your dog’s illness, we do offer make-up sessions. For more information on make-up sessions, please see our refund policy FAQ.

Unfortunately, we do not currently do make-ups on group sessions for any reason OTHER than illness in your dog. Additionally, we do not offer cash refunds for missed sessions.
If your dog comes down ill, we offer the chance to make up one missed session in another class. Please contact us in order to determine these details at the time of the illness.

Yes! But, please understand that each dog needs to be trained separately, so this would cut down on the time each dog receives in training. If you would like to bring more than one dog to a session, please confirm with your trainer ahead of your appointment.

We allow puppies to begin training after they have received their 2nd vaccine. Additionally, the puppy must have been in the home and illness free for at least 2 weeks.

Sometimes, yes! However, the answer may also be no. It depends on the situation with your individual dog. We do only positive reinforcement, force-free training, and this means that we always work at your dog's individual pace.

It depends on what your training is for, but generally, a flat collar and a six-foot lead work best. Harnesses are also acceptable.
Additionally, please bring lots of small training treats.
We do not allow choke chains, prong or pinch collars, e-collars, or retractable leashes.
